ECONDAT is a network for central bank researchers and practitioners exploring data science, non-traditional data, and advanced analytics in economics. Topics include machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI), natural language processing (NLP), and the use of large or unstructured datasets to understand the economy.
We host interactive knowledge sessions throughout the year - by central bank staff, for central bank staff- covering research, technical presentations, and practical applications. The sessions are coordinated by the Bank of England, Banca d’Italia, European Central Bank, and the Federal Reserve Board. To join the mailing list or suggest topics, email ECONDAT@frb.gov from your institutional address.
