As part of Open House Days Festival 2025, explore our museum during these limited-time weekend Open Days, and discover our new exhibition, Building the Bank, arriving this September.

Not able to make it to the Museum during our regular hours? Experience the Museum as you have not seen it before during the Open house weekend and join us in celebrating the opening of our brand-new exhibition Building the Bank, available to the public from 16 September.

Plus, we will be showcasing our limited-time pop-up display Reconstructing value, supported by Cheapside Business Alliance; a striking partnership with the Bank of England Museum, Plasticiet and Surface Matter that will display £2.5 million worth of recycled and reconstructed British banknotes. Not to be missed!

And in addition, we’ll be running our Architectural walking tours and Parlour office tours to celebrate the exhibition’s debut, so there’s something for everyone to get involved in.

Don’t miss this year’s Open House Days Festival 2025, head down to the Bank of England Museum and discover a brilliant showcase of history, architecture, and design.
