Easter trail
When: 7 April to 17 April, 10am to 4.30pm
Explore our museum with a free family trail. Make surprising discoveries about the Bank of England’s history through some of the hidden gems we have displayed in our galleries. Hand in your completed trail to the information desk for a small (edible!) prize.
Free, no need to book ahead.
Colouring activities
When: available 7 April to 17 April, 10am to 4.30pm
Get colourful and creative with some arty activities we will have available throughout the event. Create your own Easter themed mask to transform into a rabbit, sheep or chick, or characters from the much-loved children’s classic, ‘The Wind in the Willows’.
Costumed storytelling sessions
When: 14 April to 17 April at 10.45am, 11.45am, 1.45pm, 2.45pm and 3.45pm.
Join one of our free ‘Wind in the Willows’-themed storytelling sessions taking place during the second week of the Easter holidays! Listen to stories about Toad’s mischievous adventures, delivered by a costumed storyteller.
The storytelling sessions are free and each session lasts around 20 minutes, but places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend you arrive early to avoid disappointment. Tickets for specific time slots can be collected from the museum’s information desk on arrival.
