When: Saturday 9 November, 11am to 4pm (last entry 3.30pm)
Join us for free family fun during Lord Mayor’s Show. Did you know this parade has taken place almost every year since 1215? Watch the procession as it goes past the Bank of England, then head inside the museum to take part in family-friendly crafts and activities.
Face-painters will work their artistic magic between 11.30am and 3.30pm, and age-appropriate worksheets and colouring activities will be available.
But that’s not all! Test your strength by picking up a real gold bar, learn how money and the way we use it is changing, and find out more about the Bank’s history and current role as the UK’s central bank.
Entry, events and activities are all free, no booking required.
